My name is Phillip Hall. I have worked in the surf industry since I was 14 years old with the company Surf The Earth. Ever since I started surfing I knew I wanted to do it for life and be involved with the industry as well. I have always wanted to own my own surf business and Surf The Earth helped me learn what was needed. I graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

I have been traveling to Costa Rica since 2005 and always knew I wanted to live here. I have also traveled all over the world in search of waves, places like Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Tortola, Panama, and all over the US. I found that Costa Rica’s consistent waves and Pura Vida lifestyle made for a great place to start a business. Now that I have started a small branch of Surf The Earth I want to give people the best vacation that they could possibly experience.

Filming is an important part of what we do. We provide film for any trip. We use a Cannon camera with high quality HD film. This is one of the aspects that makes our company unique. We capture your whole vacation on film and edit it into a personal HD DVD that you can take with you to experience your vacation at home any time.

The Land Rover Defender 110 is fully equipped to reach any corner of Costa Rica’s challenging terrain. We travel through rivers, up mountains, and down the many bumpy roads. The truck comfortably fits eight people and luggage. We offer airport transportation, daily rides, and long distance travel.
